During our wrap-up this evening we asked everyone to share a highlight of the program so far, and here they are....
Ben: Meeting Jeff Oakley!
Margot: Getting to know everyone from the different groups! (There are about 350 people here from all different states)
Anna: Going to Georgetown for dinner
Michael: Shopping in Georgetown
Alyson: Meeting people from different states
Florie: Nothing But Nets program and the ice cream sundaes that followed
Caroline: Spending the evening in Georgetown
Zach: Getting closer with other TBT kids and bonding in Georgetown (apparently everyone loved Georgetown!)
Leiah R.: Nothing But Nets program and the free wristband she scored
Dafi: The bus driver...and the Nothing But Nets program
Aaron: Georgetown
Max: Watching the security guard at the spy museum mess with Florie (she got in trouble for taking a photo in the museum and this huge security guard started yelling at Florie and we were all sort of scared for her life, but he was just joking with her...you should have seen the look on Florie's face!)
Will: Georgetown
Leah: Havdallah on the steps of the Jefferson Memorial
Chase: Georgetown
Rachel: loves everything!
Joe: The lobbying simulation program we did in the morning. Also, Joe was really interested in the Holocaust Museum and wishes he could go through it again with more time.
Rabbi Kinberg: During the lobby simulation, our kids won their team extra points for making the representative a holiday card, which was great because we actually made holiday cards for our representatives!! A proud moment!
That's all for now - it's time for bed!
xoxo Molly (that's for the girls in 14-112)
